Can a heating pad affect your ability to concieve a child?
I was just wondering if the heat from the heating pad, being applied to your stomach for long periods of time affect your ovaries in any way?? I heard heat can effect your ovaries?
It doesn’t affect your ovaries. However, it is super-heating that area. Professionals and doctors advise you not to take baths warmer than lukewarm to protect the baby from the heat. This means if you are doing anything to cause extreme heat to the area, an egg may have a hard time fertilizing, implanting, or growing, and would just be flushed out by the body.
Take it easy on the heat while trying to get pregnant, because above all, it’s always better to be safe.
